okay, is there any chance you saw the premier last night of a show called Will Traveler? Let me tell you, what a neat idea. Three young men all done with grad school, one's a lawyer, one's an engineer, one's going to wall street. They've lived together for 2 years and are the best of friends. Before they buckle down to their careers they plan a road trip, and the first stop is NYC. Will convinces the other two, Jay and Can't-Remember, to pull a prank in the MET. The two put on their skates, and zoom through the museum evading the security guards. They get outside and to the corner where they are supposed to meet Will, who's been filming the whole thing. He's not at the corner but he calls them on the phone. He asks/demands,"Did you get out, are you out?" They say yes, where is he? But at that moment the whole museum behind them blows up. Who created the diversion, who's faces are on the security video, zooming out of the museum in a hurry? Before long they are Public Enemy #1-A and #1-B.
Facinating concept and except for a few mis-steps about how people might make decisions under this kind of circumstance, it's a wonderful show. It'll be on again because the 6-episode series doesn't begin for another 2 weeks. If I see it, I'll let you know. Really good show. -c
