This gives you an idea of possibilities. Here I am wearing the bracelet we designed for me yesterday with a floral art pendant from Inky Productions, Lily, but I am wearing it as a necklace today. I have increased the length by tying fishing line to the back. We used Trollbeads Lion, Lamb, and other beads, silver and glass, to represent the story.
If you are a fan of Twilight, the movies or the books, you probably know the stories by heart. You know that Bella's skin smells like strawberries, and Edward sparkles in sunlight. You know what flowers she carries in her wedding bouquet. And she carried freesias to the prom.
“Alice, Rosalie…thank you,” he breathed without looking away from me. I heard Alice chuckle in pleasure.
He stepped forward, cupping one cold hand under my jaw, and stooping to press his lips to my throat.
“It is you,” he murmured against my skin. He pulled away, and there were white flowers in his other hand.
“Freesia,” he informed me as he pinned them into my curls. “Completely redundant, as far as fragrance is concerned, of course.” He leaned back, looking me over again. He smiled his heart-stopping smile. “You are absurdly beautiful.” © 2007 Stephenie Meyer
Ah, yes, romance at its best and most unrequited. And eternal, let's not forget eternal.
Wouldn't everyone want an eternal romance, one that stays fresh and true, not one that goes through the nitty-gritty of the mundane day-to-day grind or dies a slow death through other unrelated issues? Is that why it is called fiction?
Nevertheless, we bring romance into our lives by allowing ourselves to enter fantasies where we can bring some of the inspiration to our own lives.
You can see a variety of Victorian Floral Art pendants by Inky Productions, each a work of art, not a copy, at Addicted2Beads. Additionally there are other resources listed at the site where you can choose beads to make a Twilight related bracelet or necklace.
Do you love the Twilight series? Are you counting down the days until the next movie comes out on June 30th?
