"There Is A Reason You Are There"
Wherever you are, you are there for a reason. There are times when the reason will be patently evident. At other times you will need to be patient to understand why. From: Kindness: Making a Difference in People's Lives: Formulas, stories, and insights By Zelig Pliskin
Have you ever felt you were in exactly the right place at the right time? Life feels serendipitous in those moments. I always offer up a prayer of thanks.
It reminds me of what Paul said:
I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. Phil 4:11
There is a sense of being content when we feel we are in the right place at the right time, even if that place is uncomfortable. There is a purpose to it. Not every right place is easy.
An opportunity is not necessarily God's open door. Kathy Miller
Sometimes the open door is right where we are.
