Split second timing

in Just thinking

Somedays it seems like everything meshes with split second timing, and if you can be unfrenzied, then there is a flow to the day that is serendipitous.

Yesterday was a day like that. Somehow it all got done. The various appointments meshed into each other seamlessly. Things that needed to be done got meshed with things that ought to be done and were meshed with things that were lovely to do.

It helped to try to eliminate push as much as possible and just see if the day would flow. I couldn't make it happen anyway; I could just be available to it. The needs had to be done; there was no choice -- all of which were extra to my usual days. I was open to the possibility of canceling the oughts and not adding the extra, but it all came together.

When has being available made your day flow better? or would you find if you faced your day like that, it might go better?
