Speaking of interesting older women

in Age, Just thinking

I just heard about the oldest woman blogger, Olive Riley, aged 107 in 2007. [Unfortunately, she has now died. 2009]

Her blog The Life of Riley is being typed by a younger friend who believes if she is interested in life, she will stick around longer. There are some lovely pictures.

She tells the stories, and he writes them for her. So far there are two entries. He also did a documentary film about her which at one time you could download it for free.

Isn't that grand!

You can read a little more about her at Ernie Shackle's ebook.

She's held a bank account for over 100 years.

She sounds like a woman others like to be around. I think that is marvelous too.

You go, Olive!
