Continuing through more samples, gifted me by a POLer:

Lucienne is an interesting fragrance. Lucky Scent carries Lucienne $132 for 50 ml now $66

Notes: Bay rose, Bulgarian rose, leafy green, ginger, lemon, bergamot, Indian jasmine, rose maroc, gardenia, orris, green tulip, lily of the valley, musk, heliotrope, vanilla, gray amber, sandalwood, cedarwood

Don't you love to read the back story! It makes a good story, anyway. Lucienne, Countess von Doz, loved the fragrance her mother wore, which was made especially for her by a parfumer in Grasse, the heart of perfume country. Coming across a bit in an old bottle, it transported her to the time her mother wore it. She decided to recreate it, perhaps in a more modern take, so other women could enjoy it also. But it incorporates the spirit of the one her mother wore.

My take -- what I think
I am not particularly a floral person as far as perfumes go, but I love fresh flowers in the house. What I mean by this is that normally I cannot wear white florals or some roses.

This fragrance is sufficiently unique and different that it is one I would enjoy wearing on occasion. I have liked tulips in a couple of fragrances. It is quite green, which I generally love, with a bit of floral. It is the spice that adds spice.

Is this one that you wear?
What do you think of it? Have you tried it?
