I have a friend who swears by this product. She is also a Lancome MUA and SA at SAKs. On her, it makes a big difference.
I've had it sitting around for a while now, so for the past few days I've been trying to use it. I find a lot of plus and minus.
What's the purpose of a mascara primer?
That's hard to say, seriously. It is supposed to make your eyes more dramatic with longer, thicker lashes.
I don't know what makes using this any different from using several coats of mascara. (I only use one normally.)
Plus
My eyelashes are incredibly long today. I really tried to use a bit of it.
Minus
I think they look clumpy. And I don't like that.
Because Cils is white and because my lashes are very light, it is difficult for me to see if I even have any on. Or to see how it has layered over/into my lashes. A lot of product is still left in the brush which never seems to transfer to my lashes.
Plus
However, my lashes are very, very long today, which you may not be able to see clearly here. They don't feel heavy. They are not smudging.
Mascara: all Lancome
Top: Cils, followed by Hypnose in Black
Lower: Definicils in Black, using the sample size because it is smaller. It's a good mascara.
Remember to think of these products when there is a gwp.
