Book Girl and I went to see Killers this morning.

You have to admit that Aston Kutcher and Kathryn Heigl are easy on the eyes. It was fun seeing Tom Selleck again -- and his famed mustache. He is lookin' good!

The basic story is that Aston is a spy who gets out of the game when he meets Heigl, and they fall in love. He finds himself back in the game in a big way, when after marrying Heigl, a hired killer is out to get him -- and by extension, her. He needs to protect his wife -- and she needs to protect him, even though she has never led an exciting life or shot a gun or even bungee jumped.

They have very good chemistry and look like they had fun making the movie. It is kind of a James Bond send-up. Even though it deals with a serious subject -- and there are some deaths -- there were a lot of laughs. The movie starts out fast, then the action is non-stop once it gets going again three years after the marriage.

There were a couple of twists I didn't foresee and a few surprises. It has a great cast, including some we've seen in other movies. Kevin Sussman is always fun to watch.

Heigl has such an expressive face. Even the obligatory bathroom scene is handled with panache. I hear she is going to be Stephanie Plum -- that will be another fun one. We sure enjoy the books!

I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel. Or at least seeing the two of them in another movie.

Have you seen it?
I'd give it a 2 out of 5, but it was enjoyable enough that I'd see it another time.
