Book Girl and I just tried the garlic chicken for lunch. It really was excellent. It looks just like the packaging. I used a coupon, which is how I even learned about it.
Broccolli, corn, pasta, roasted white chicken in a garlic sauce in just the right combination. Everything looked and tasted fresh. You would never know it was frozen or that you hadn't made it from scratch.
It was not inexpensive, but I figured we would get a couple of meals out of it for the two of us. At 22 oz, it is supposed to serve 3.5 -- and that's about right for lunch as we had almost half of it left for tomorrow. For dinner, you'd add a salad or fruit. Or even use it as a side dish.
We were surprised by how good it was. I wouldn't hesitate to try one of the other variations, if it were something I know I'd normally like.
And it only takes 10 minutes to cook.
We give it a 5. We felt we had a balanced meal, quickly, and it wasn't heavy as it would have been in an Alfredo sauce.
Have you tried this?
