This mascara came in one of BE's kits, and it offered me the chance to try this type of mascara again. I always think I will like the sparkly mascaras, but I have yet to figure out how to wear them so they show up.

Black first, then Diamond over it
The mascara comes with Black at one end and Diamond (white with glitter) at the other. The Black is very nice. This is applied first, then Diamond over it. I never can get Diamond to show.

This is really, really, really hard to see, which is the point:

Photobucket.

Using Diamond Alone:
I have tried it alone, and it doesn't do enough on my eyes.

It might be interesting on Book Girl's lashes as they are long, thick and lush. Her lashes don't really need color, just definition.

I have used it sparklingly (good typo, I meant sparingly) on my brows. It shows up there, only just barely.

White lashes
If you want white lashes, as in some of the interesting winter ads, Diamond doesn't show up white, but clear.

White lashes are easy to achieve using Lancome Cils primer.

If you want sparkly lashes
You might have to mix some Aromaleigh glitter on your mascara brush. I haven't tried that yet, but it might work. Review to follow, if I try it.

Have you tried this type of mascara? or this one? have you tried to make a glitter mascara by adding glitter to mascara? What did you think? Did it work? Did you like the effect?
