in Arbonne, Lip Gloss, Review

Revised to add: Gleam

Arbonne has 28 shades of lipsticks (I have 3 and ordered 2 more); $16.50
10 shades of prep and plump (I've ordered 1 to try the formula) $28
6 shades of lipgloss (I've ordered 2); $16
6 shades of lip pencils $16
Plus there are 6 shades of lip gloss in the teen line (I love these and have ordered 2.) $10

As I try other colors, I will share.

The color range in the P&P line is from what looks in the catalog like a glittery nude to a deep brown, including a red, this pink, an apricot and various nuances. It looks like 3 might have glitter. On point is one of them. I particularly like some sparkle!

I think this is so pretty by itself! To see it in combination with other colors go here.

On Point
This is a very pretty color and reminds me a bit of the color of toe shoes -- which, I'm sure, is the allusion in the name. I have worn the colors on several days, not necessarily consecutively. Perhaps you remember that I hurt my lips using another brand's plumping formula of lipstick, so I am admittedly shy about using them. I have loved everything I tried that was Arbonne, however, so I thought I'd give it a go.

My lips are fine. The product doesn't sting or tingle.

Key Ingredients: peptides, green tea and ginseng extracts, vitamins A, C and E.

There must also be some soybean oil in them:

Soybean oil is a superb moisturizer that is high in vitamin E, is easily absorbed, and improves skin’s elasticity and flexibility. The soybean’s sugars and amino acids deliver a smooth sensation upon application to skin.

Evaluated in an independent lab, a 4 week efficacy study produced the following results:

71% showed increased lip fullness, 5 mins post application
79% showed increased lip fullness after four weeks of daiy product use. Measured by a digital caliper compared to baseline.

I buy for color and feel. Any plumping is just a bonus.

Do my lips look fuller? I dunno. I love the color though!

Have you tried this formula? What color(s) have you tried?

To buy Arbonne from Bookgirl, if you don't have a representative, just ask.
