in Guerlain, Powder

I thought you might like to see some of my powder.

Guerlain
The two containers with pearls of powder in various colors are Guerlain Meteorites. Different color combos accent different tones.

The smaller one with the decorative lid is Beige Chic 03. I often use this for a light bronzer.

The larger one is Meteorites Butterfly Pearls for face and body.

The powder immediately under it, which looks slightly pinky mauve is also Meteorites. I don't know the color any more, but I ground it up in my Cuisinart when it became too hard to use effectively with a brush. (I had left it open in a crystal wine glass, as it was shown in the store. It looked great, but dried out the powder.) It's not completely fine milled, but the more I use of it, the less there are bigger bits. Originally, the pearls were white, gold, green...and maybe something else. I forget, but surprisingly the overall tone is pink when ground. Whaddya know!

My sparkly powder mix
The last one to the right is my sparkly powder mix, and above it, in the lid is the little screen that came with the original loose powder that was in this container before I used it up. I keep the screen on it, and dip my brush against the screen. I tap off any excess in the lid, then reapply from the lid, if I need to.
