Kilian approved the formulas for this line, when he was sure they smelled correctly to people he knew from the Middle East.
They like scents that are more animalistic and Oriental, scents closer to their culture. Kilian

Back to Black — I shared my sample with a friend who is Arab-American, and immediately she said it smelled like something an Arabian woman would wear. I said she was exactly right. And it’s something both she and I like.
