I used to think I had to finish a project, and 90% of the time I'm not crazy about it until the home stretch. I've given myself permission to just pass it along unfinished, if need be.

My sister has given unfinished projects (with yarn, floss, etc.)to Goodwill or sold them in garage sales.

I know exactly what you mean. Having so much creative talent yet not able to implement all of the ideas so we end up with so many unfinished projects - I know will be wonderful if I can find the time. Yet, no time is found.

You are wonderful to give some of your supplies away. I had too many "collections" so have passed some on to others. It is so hard. We are attached to "things" yet there is no sane reason to be so.
I do know, using the buddy system (having someone with you/help you) to get organized is helpful.
I can't even be a minimalist with words! If you get any great ideas, please pass them on.
