Optimist?

Optimism is a learned behavior, so anyone can become an optimist, no matter what his or her background or past or present circumstances may be. Sandy Rohrbacher, Direct Selling Advisor, Viviane Woodard cosmetics

Maybe so.

I think there are some things in life that defy optimism and would require a lobotomy in order to stay on top of.

We might be able to say, despite the circumstances or how a particular set of circumstances turns out, we can look for, and maybe even expect, a brighter tomorrow. Maybe that's a kind of optimism too in spite of circumstances.

Maybe, truth be told, all optimism is in spite of circumstances or outside of circumstances. What say you?

Do you tend to look at the bright side? do most clouds have a silver lining? do you have to find a bright side even if one seems out of reach?

Optimism is a great topic. An open mind and positive thought can take a person many places. If everyone that came to my exercise classes did not have a little Optimism they would never get the results they work so hard for.

I love this post it is motivating and gets the brain thinking.

I like the idea that optimism is a learned behavior, so perhaps it gets easier as we practice it — changing thought. Thanks for visiting!
