OPI Sahara Sapphire

Another gorgeous color! (Ring finger has OPI Russian Navy Suede)
The color looks like a mid tone slate blue in the bottle. It looks like a lavender-gray or blue-gray on. Very neutral and very modern looking. I loved it! I could see thinking of it as a neutral instead of a French manicure.

How many coats?
1 coat of Sahara Sapphire; 2 coats of RNS

The bad thing
Even with a base coat, Sahara Sapphire stained my nails yellow. When I had my French manicure done, it is obvious to me, but likely not to anyone else. I bought a nail whitener by Essie, but forgot to use it. I expected the RNS would possibly have stained my nails, not this one. When I do try the nail whitener, I'll let you know how it works. You are supposed to put it on your nails before the base coat.

Have you worn this color?
Do you like to wear only pinks, red or French on your nails? Or do you go for the blues and blacks?

I have to decide if I'm going back to wearing polish whether it stains my nails or not.
