Neil Morris Fragrances, Part 1

If you are lucky enough to meet Neil Morris or sample his fragrances, you can count yourself blessed. One day I hope to get to a Sniffa. I often think I live in the back of beyond, when it comes to access, but I’m blessed with friends, both online and RL, who keep me updated. In this case, Ida/Chaya tempted me with several delicious Neil Morris fragrances: Gotham, Dark Season, Dark Earth and her own bespoke Perfume d’Ida.

These are not available at his website yet, but you can order them. Each is $150 for 2 oz of perfume (not edp.) Or if you prefer, you can phone: 617-267-2315. They are also available at Takashimaya in NYC.

I felt gifted! There is nothing I like better than to try new fragrances.

After sampling my goodies for a few days, I wanted to share them with you. I picked up the phone and left a message for Neil who returned my call quite promptly. He comes across as warm and personable on the phone, as he is said to be in person. He sounds like his picture looks. I quite enjoyed our conversation.

Over my next few entries, I will review these fragrances, tell his stories, and share our conversation.
