Lumene Skincare and cosmetics

in Brands, CVS, Finland, Lumene, Magic Product, Mineral, Review

I haven't used many Lumene products, but I've kept a running list of products to check out, as I do for other brands.

I like their slogan:

You can't predict the future, but you can change it.

So far as I know, only CVS in our area carries Lumene, which is made in Finland, where I have a piece of my heart. Our CVS had only some of the products and does not carry the mineral makeup.

These products were highly recommended at other lists:

Radiant Skin perfector
Double stay mineral makeup for combination and oily skin -- Total Beauty rates this a 9
Time Freeze Instant Cooling Eye Stick
C+ energy cocktail intensive care
C+ Energy Cocktail Pampering Drops

Magic Product
Time Freeze Instant Cooling Eye Stick ~$22
I tried this for the first time last week, but I consider this a Magic Product. I don't know of another product like it on the market. The closest thing I have is a little jade roller from China. It is cool and refreshing too.

It is, as it says, a cooling stick, distinctly cool, with some moisturizing qualities.

The stick is very soft. I press it lightly to the skin vs. trying to apply it. Instantly, my eyes feel refreshed and cool. I even feel more awake.

I suspect it would work well on swollen eyes -- or eyes that are (or will be) because of crying. Apply this right away, and you might wake up with normal eyes.

I was talking to the SA at CVS today. She said she bought 2 of these the last time they went on sale. She uses hers, she said, first thing in the morning. I bought two also, because Book Girl liked mine so well, she wanted her own. I'll likely carry mine with me. So I will eventually need another one for the house.

The stick is small, but I imagine that keeps it from drying out.

Have you tried this?
Do you love it? I give it a 5 ++ (out of 5.)
Please let me know if you try it!

If you are in Europe or Finland, how is Lumene considered?

Is it similar to Yves Rocher? Is it considered excellent? simply drugstore?
