LOTD NYX Lips Iced Lavender +

in Lancome, Lip Gloss, Lipstick, LOTD, NYX

Here's the combo I came up with because I felt Iced Lavender alone would be too dark/brown for the finished look. There's a fine line between crossing from just right to too much -- or an evening look for daytime. Especially when you are fair skinned, as I am.

NYX Lips Iced Lavender + Lancome Prodige rimmed with NYX Purple Rain mega shine lipgloss -- this softened it just enough.

In RL it is blended better than it might look in the pictures. Here is a better picture:

Here is what Iced Lavender looks like alone:
Iced Lavender
This is like a deep brown/grey with lavender. Pretty color, esp for fall or for deeper skin tones.

Do you have Iced Lavender?
I put it with browns as it pulls quite gray on me. Others put it more in a Purple/Mauve grouping. I think it worked out well softening it. I don't have any other color quite like Iced Lavender. I think I will have fun with it. I'm going to put it on now, alone, for the look I wear into the evening.

My husband's comment: You've got purple lips, you cold?
Funny man, LOL!
But it is a shocking shade, more so than this picture shows. I look like I'd make a good glow-in-the-dark Zombie! Too true.

Added later: As this color wears off some, it is particularly pretty. I think the key is to start off with very little. I might try that the next time.

How about you?
What do you think?

You are indeed looking chilly. haha :D This must be that purple liner I liked so well. It’s really quite electric and bright in person without being startling.
