Happy Easter, everyone! I hope you have had a good day!

I saw this on a customer and it was such a beautiful combination -- almost a brown-pink-apricot plum -- but you know how it is, on me it is much pinker, so I'm trying to come up with the same look by using lip pencils.

Mary Kay Metallic lip liner MAC Sweetie, topped with Pinkarat gloss, rimmed with a lighter gloss and used up the center too. This is a true brown liner.

I think it is pretty, but now it is almost a red look and definitely deeper colored than hers was.

Compare it to the day I wore it with no lip liner:

MAC Sweetie, topped with Pinkarat gloss, topped in the middle with Beauté IF to make it a little less pink, rimmed with NYX Chandelier.

What do you think?
Which do you like? How can I bring it more into the tone it looked like on her? I'm afraid to do a plum liner -- I think it would go purple. I thought an apricot-nude liner would definitely make it red.

I'll have to keep trying!
