LOTD Fyrinnae Creating a new lip color

I changed the technique a bit here.

Lollipop-pop on both lips.
This color looks like a warm pink in the tube, but on, it is a blue pink which I usually love. However, my T is salmon colored today and so my lips needed to be more salmon.

Type A Applied over the top of both lips and blended well. I used the back end of a brush, not the applicator (I don't want to mix colors on the applicators.) I also wanted to blend fast, but not have it in a lip brush.

Here it is full face, plus you can see how well it matched my T.

My take:
I thought the color was very pretty.

I like Fyrinnae's colors. They are interesting and different.

Today both colors had little flecks of more solids. This is not to be unexpected. I just used the back end of a brush to blend them in well.

How about you?
Do you have any of their colors? What are your faves?

I really want to get that Fyrinnae lippie! I’ve seen it on you and on Zhariel on the AL forums, and I love the blue reflects. Thanks for posting pics. What’s the texture like? Is it thick and sticky or more sheer?

Karin May 7, 2009 at 3:32 pm

Their colors feel sheer and creamy, though they are opaque, not heavy or sticky. They feel somewhat like they are silicone based. I worry that they might hurt my lips (as I had that experience with the plumping kinds) because they might not be moisturizing enough. So far, they are not causing me any problems. I like them. So they must be moisturizing.

Thanks for commenting!

Cool! I think I will give them a try. I like glosses that are somewhat thick and opaque but not too sticky (hard to find). I want to get Lollipop-pop, Vinyl Shorts, My Toi, and Ryunome. They have such unusual colors! Thanks for the info, it helped.

I don’t have My Toi. I chose Ryunome because I could blue up other colors with it. I have to check if I have Vinyl Shorts. Lollipop-pop is a great color.

They have discontinued the small sample sizes because of problems with pricing of the container. But they have decreased the price of the larger sizes, according to their website today.
