Here's another new instrument for me, a Chapman stick.
I really never considered new instruments. I suspect I'd thought old instruments might be improved on, such as making the sound more specific because of new abilities to tweak parameters. I didn't think about new ones or how we'd hear about them if we weren't plugged into the genre.
I bet there are quite a few new instruments being devised. I wonder how many will become permanent in the repertoire?
