I was tagged — twice!

I was tagged by Laurie at Sonoma Scent and Elena at PerfumeShrine. My bad. I’ve just not been able to blog lately.

I’m supposed to do the following six things:

1. Link to the person who tagged you. (above)
2. Post the rules on your blog. (that’s this list)
3. Write six random things about yourself. (below) (I think I will have to do this twice!)
4. Tag six people at the end of your post and link to them. (below)
5. Let each person know they’ve been tagged and leave a comment on their blog. (will do)
6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up. (ok)

Six (X2) random things about me:

1. I had every kind of pet imaginable as a child, except for snakes and lizards, but no pets (except for fish) basically since we had children. One child was allergic.
2. I’ve had a number of exchange students. They were all memorable. Two are like family; one is like another son to us. I’ve visited two of the students (in Paris and Helsinki.)
3. I love perfume (no surprise) but rarely wear it in large quantities. One squirt enough for me. Two at most. And I like to change fragrances throughout the day. I likely will never use up what I have.
4. I was equally good in math and language (English.) I took German and French in school, but never thought I’d use them/travel outside the US. What a surprise!
5. I’ve traveled to China 3 times (never ever thought I’d do that). Our youngest two girls are from China. One trip was to take part in a documentary film for the Chinese people.
6. I’ve taken a number of cruises. I didn’t like the food on the Norwegian ship. That was probably our least favorite. The second least fave was on a Princess ship where we kept hearing running water in the walls periodically — and we had a supposedly good stateroom.
7. Friendship means a lot to me, but I’m equally independent. I have friends all over the world.
8. We’ve traveled a lot since marriage throughout the West (US.) As a kid, I only traveled the East/Northeast/to FL.
9. I’ve been to Europe several times. The last trip we went all the way to Athens, but I didn’t know Elena at the time or we would have met then.
10. I miss not traveling the last year or so.
11. I’m back knitting again and loving it. Using up some of my stash. Giving it as gifts.
12. I like to bead jewelry.

Hi Karin! I’m just like you; a squirt or two of scent does me as well. Actually, a dab or two is even better when I can dab instead of spray. Most people never know I’m wearing scent because I like it soft. I like to bead too; never learned to knit though. Sounds like you’ve done some great traveling. Thanks for playing tag! :) Hope things are going well.
