How good is your data?

A friend who does psychological testing for her school system wrote to me about her work situation:

Your data is only so good as your heart and hope. MBD

I thought it was quite profound.

Maybe it goes almost without saying that heart and hope change the results of any data.

We've heard of people who survive when they aren't given a hope to survive by the data, but there is something within that mediates the data's prognosis.

So, add some heart and some hope to the data you are processing today. At the very least it will make your day easier, and who knows what other good it might bring to you.
