This sounds like sound advice for any business or business person to me.
I also like that their philosophy is to take care both of the passenger and their own people. That's increasingly rare, to care for your own staff vs. the bottom line. Caring for both should affect the bottom line in a positive way, when continuous improvement is also your goal.
