Having your feet on the ground when flying

“We have to continually reinvent ourselves as people and as an airline. If you’re stuck on one path, it may dead-end one day… ‘Continuous change, continuous commitment, continuous improvement.’ [Vince Lombardi] “That’s what it’s all about.” Necia Clark-Mantle vice-president of people, Sky West

This sounds like sound advice for any business or business person to me.

I also like that their philosophy is to take care both of the passenger and their own people. That’s increasingly rare, to care for your own staff vs. the bottom line. Caring for both should affect the bottom line in a positive way, when continuous improvement is also your goal.

We had a good flight.
