Havin’ a Bob Dylan kind of day

Well, I've finished ripping all my CDs into the MP3 format. Whew. But it was well worth it. I even finished up my Christmas CDs so I don't have to do them next Christmas.

Then, I decided I wanted to listen to Bob Dylan. If you're in the mood for Dylan, no one else will do. How lovely to enjoy his music nonstop for a few hours. There's something about his voice, his lyrics, the music, the harmonica on occasion...they all work together for me. I'm transported to a different place and time.

I asked my oldest daughter the other day if she knew who Bob Dylan was. Yes, he was a bad singer and bad poet.

Perhaps it is an acquired taste, unless you grew up with it.

I enjoy his rhyming which I often find unconventional, but they work for me, quite cleverly. Not that I can say I understand all of his lyrics.

How about you, what did you have on for music today?
