Hi: Got your message - and visited your blog. Actually, my friends are like my family.

Had another thought - on the computer, a friend is only a word away!

I'm enjoying writing this! Maybe it recaptures the old days of written letters. I used to think that pen and script were more spiritual, because pushing keys were not hand brain script making movements that I thought moved thought more fully. Maybe not so.

The lady that does my hair and I share a lot. So having my hair done is doubly satisfying.

I have a friend who has shared thoughts and spiritual difficulties. That's been wonderful!

I am so blessed with 5 really close friendships. Then there are less close friendships and many acquaintances. 2 acquaintances do things from time to time - but we do not talk on the phone much. Then I have another close friend, who does not like to talk on the phone.

I have reconected with a lost friendship. We often were there for each other. Our active listening to each other often provided insight for both of us. Old friends also have a shared history. However, shared history is not enough to keep it going.

Would be nice to make new friends that care about the same things.

When I was feeling down recently, I talked with a friend, and the Bible phrase "Lift thou me up, and I will be lifted up", came to me. I felt buoyed up just like the way dolphins push those that seem to have difficulty to come to the surface for air, up. Guest writer
