I've got a lot to share tonight, so I started earlier to get a head start on it.
I disliked this look so much yesterday and felt so blah, that I didn't want to share some of what I did. OTOH, I looked at the picture today and I wondered what it was I didn't like. Maybe it's the color on this computer screen, it looks bad again, LOL, but looked good on my desktop.
And, of course, today I colored my hair and that takes the blahs away too.
Here's the picture again:
Foundation: Chanel, discontinued -- I didn't even like this!
Rouge: Signature Club A Lift and Fill Cheek and Eye -- this is way too dark/beigy on me, so I mixed it with Jordana Magenta -- still beigy -- still yuck! LOL
Powder: my sparkly mix
Highlight: AL luminary, cheek glisten, a kind of soft brown/taupe
I've been thinking my foundation has looked really sheer lately. I finally figured it out. I'm using a different suncreen.
Instead of my Neutrogena, I'm using up an uber expensive one from La Prairie. This is like adding another layer of moisturizer.
I just figured it would be one of the items I try to use up, then not buy again. Normally I'd use this without foundation, but it is so rare for me to go into the sun and even rarer to go without foundation, that I'd never use it, if I didn't use it like this. So now, I'm being very careful to either use a good primer (like the Avon one that is matte -- to take away some of the sheerness/shininess) or be super careful not to use too much of it.
