I don't have Fox. I have several of the CS matte collection. Lagoon is one of my absolute favorites. I think I'll try them again tomorrow, you inspired me! They go on real nicely. Sometimes I will add a bit of shimmer on top, because I don't find mattes real flattering always. But you can't go wrong with AL. Kristin's colors and formulas are terrific! I love burnt roses. I don’t have Fox.

Normally I don't buy many mattes, but these are so silky and flattering. I did this yesterday: Dune on the lid and browbone, Chocolat in the outer 2/3 of the crease and outer corner of the lid, blending and fading inwards, then dampen angle brush and line eyes with Chocolat. Another fave, but shimmery: Do same maneuver with Fox on lid and browbone, Burnt Roses (gothic lolita collection) in crease and as liner.
