Something soft and simple for a Saturday.
To remind you of the set:
Chanel Les Quatre eye shadow Sublimes: Marine, Beige Rose, Granite, Clear Blue
This set leans toward teal especially in the darker shades. If you make an X, the upper right and lower left are both light shades, though I’ve never worn them alone until Saturday — it only took me 10 years to think of it!
The opposite line, are two darks, very dark and extremely dark. One looks black-blue; the other looks black-black-blue. They would be very dramatic if used for evening — or even to achieve a goth look. I used these to dryline top and lower lash line. But the majority of the color on Saturday were the two light shades, using the blue to emphasize my crease.
Arbonne mascara again, the 2 in 1.
I actually did my eyes in the car on the way to breakfast. It was fast and quick. (I wasn’t driving, LOL!)
Arbonne primer and foundation, again. Chanel stick rouge under my sparkly powder mix. What was left on my fingers after blending my lipstick, on my cheeks after the powder.
Lips: Arbonne Bubblegum (bright, bright pink) with a touch of Arbonne Copper gloss to tone it down, but not so much as to change the color family.
Thanks for looking!

love the lips!
Hey, have you tried any of Aromaleigh’s Carolina Summer collection? Normally I don’t buy many mattes, but these are so silky and flattering. I did this yesterday: Dune on the lid and browbone, Chocolat in the outer 2/3 of the crease and outer corner of the lid, blending and fading inwards, then dampen angle brush and line eyes with Chocolat.
Another fave, but shimmery: Do same maneuver with Fox on lid and browbone, Burnt Roses (gothic lolita collection) in crease and as liner.
I love burnt roses. I don’t have Fox.
I have several of the CS matte collection. Lagoon is one of my absolute favorites. I think I’ll try them again tomorrow, you inspired me! They go on real nicely.
Sometimes I will add a bit of shimmer on top, because I don’t find mattes real flattering always.
But you can’t go wrong with AL. Kristin’s colors and formulas are terrific!
