FOTD Arbonne Smoky eye + Clinique lip +

I wanted to try applying the Arbonne colors in the manner shown in the catalog for the Smoky Eye look, so I decided to do the colors again today. Next time I will use a sparkly light powder after the base so the colors go on smoother. I know what works for me, but once in a while I like to work outside the box.

Eyes: Arbonne unless noted
Base:Nude Frost (not Arbonne)
Entire lid: Linen
Shaped lid: Mix of Inkling and Smudge
(navy and brown)
Centered over pupil: Bronzy shade, so there is some gleam
Wetlined top and lower: Eclipse pencil, smudged with foam end of pencil
Drylined top and lower: Inkling
Inner Corners: Illume (white)
Brows: Merle Norman powder
Mascara: Arbonne, 2 in 1
Concealer: Yes, forget which

Lip: Clinique Goodness Grapecious Vitamin C lip smoothie + Gleam gloss + Silver sparkly gloss mixed with blush shine Mixed a bit with my finger, then whatever was on my finger put on my cheeks.

I’m not sure why it looks like there is a line with no color in it. That doesn’t show in RL.

What do you think?

When I work with colors this dark, I need to be very careful as I’m more fair than I look. That is one reason why I never use a darker eyeshadow base to intensify colors. The colors are intense enough already on me. I like the look a lot. Tomorrow I will start with a softer sparkly base before I begin. Stay tuned!
