Flying on 9 11

I flew home today, and it was a somber occasion compared to other flights. I would not have chosen to fly today, but that is the way it worked out. What happened on 9/11 wasn’t far from my thought. How I wish I could turn back the clock so that it would never have happened. Security was evidenced, perhaps more than usual. My purse was thoroughly searched — things removed and re-X-rayed.

If you were there that day or lost a loved one or your life changed irrevocably because of it as happened to a friend of mine, then know you are not forgotten. In some small way, I hope it helps to know that.
