Don’t miss out on Walgreen freebie rebates

Every month Walgreen’s Drug Store has specials that are listed in a rebate coupon book that you can pick up just inside the doors.

This month, February 2009, there are three freebies worth getting. (You can choose two.) (More, if you want some of the other offers.) I figured, what if I didn’t need them or like them or want them? Who cares! It’s free with the price of a stamp.

And even better! I realized you can fill out the form online — which I just did — so it is truly free.

Revlon Age Defying Spa Concealer or Foundation — I chose to try the foundation. It comes with a brush attached at the top. The foundation feeds up through the brush and goes on quite sheer. I chose the lightest shade, and it’s quite nice. I figured this would be nice, as I’ve always liked their other Age Defying foundations.

I did not try the concealer.

Today I decided I really ought to get the other freebie:
Revlon Cream Lip Gloss. When I got there, the store closest to me only had one shade left. A store about 3 miles away had other colors, but I was happy with the choice there. I got color 10, Pink Cami. I can’t say enough good about this gloss — and I have a lot of different glosses.

It is moist, but not sticky. It has no scent and no flavor, but you don’t taste ingredients. It looks fab on — it might be in my top 3 right now. It glistens almost as if there were glitter (I love gloss with glitter) but there is no glitter in it. There is no frost; it is definitely a cream and covers nicely. It feels great! I couldn’t quite capture the nuances of it here, but I tried.

Hurry over to Walgreen’s. This offer ends February 28. Your rebate has to be postmarked by March 7. I wonder what they will have next month!

Let me know if you try any of these — and how you like them. I’ve heard good things about the concealer too.
