Here are several Vitamin C products that I like a lot:
My faves
Awake
I like the fact that you use only as much as you wish, and it liquifies in your hand as the warm of your fingers touches it.
Lancome
Sensation Totale, which has been discontinued. I love the feel of this. It makes your skin silky. I don’t know anything about the product they say is replacing it — and it makes no mention of vitamin C.
Estee Lauder
Perfectionist Cp+ is a great product and feels terrific on the skin. It is supposed to build collagen within two hours. I don’t know that it contains vitamin C but the “C” is in the name. Every time you walk through a store, put some from their tester on the back of your hands. If it works that fast on your hands, it must work on your face.
Beauticontrol has three C products. I have not tried these because I have the others, but I have several beauticontrol products that I love, and I would think these would be excellent.
Aromaleigh
I have tried 25% Vitamin C Serum- I like it a lot. I will likely begin to try the other products too.
Signature Club A
Super Strength High Potent-C Anti-Wrinkle Capsules $29.50
I like this a lot. It’s in my rotation of C products.
My second choice category
Olay
Olay Regenerist and Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Anti-Aging UV Moisturizer plus Touch of Foundation both have Vitamin C. In general, I like Olay products. I’m not sure they are as heavy duty as the Awake one.
Mary Kay TimeWise® Replenishing Serum+C
Mary Kay has come out with a C serum product in 2009. They were late to the party.
Give collagen a boost.* Help skin bounce back.
With TimeWise® Replenishing Serum+C, skin will appear lifted and firmed. This antioxidant-rich serum is formulated with ingredients that enhance the production of new collagen and help keep existing collagen from breaking down. It also contains ingredients known to support elastin. The formula is enriched with a potent blend of multiple botanical sources, known for their high levels of vitamin C.
The four weekly vials help maximize product freshness and provide an effective weekly application measurement to help you get the best results for your money. MaryKay.com
I don’t see or feel as much difference when I use this as I do with the Estee Lauder. However, you can see how dramatic the above picture makes it look. This is a customer’s unretouched photo, not the company’s. I continue to use the product on my neck — truthfully, I had not used a serum C on my neck before. I see a difference. I wish it were as dramatic, but then again, my before look is more youthful.
Avon
I did not care for the Avon one I tried a number of years ago. It was gold colored and sort of sticky. I don’t know if they still make it. It’s possible they have reformulated it. You can’t go wrong with their product guarantee.
I have not tried these
Lumene, which is available from CVS, also has a C line, day and night creams, eye cream and serum. I’ve not tried that line either.
Prescriptives also has a line of C products, but I have not tried them.
Do you use a C serum?
What is your favorite?

Here are some thoughts on various types of serums and the links to posts where I have written more specifically. Some of the serums are pricing their way out of my price point. There are actually some that are over $1000 being marketed in Japan. I suspect some are worth it; others are not.
Whenever possible, let a beauty advisor put some on your skin. See if it is possible to get a small amount to try at home before you commit to a big purchase.
This is only a partial list, as I have thought of them. I will continue to update, as I think of it.
Body Serum
Arbonne has a wonderful body serum and body lotion. You can find my review at the above link.
Facial Serums
There are also serums targeted for eyes.
Anti-Wrinkle
La Prairie CELLULAR Retexturizing Booster
This just might be a miracle product. Whenever I apply it, I see immediate results. I generally use it for several days at a time, then I give it a rest and use it again when I see the need. It is expensive, but it really works. I think it works better than Renova. Price: $185.00 | 30 ml / 1.0 oz. (Unfortunately, it’s possible this is no longer available. I have not tried any of the comparible LP serums to see if a newer one is as good.)
Serums with Vitamin C
Many companies have C-serums because they work. I have used C products for years. Mary Kay is one of the companies that has just added a C formula. If you can’t beat them, join them. The important thing is to find a C serum that works for you, then use it.
Here’s a partial list of companies that have C-serums: Awake, MK, Aromaleigh (generic), Lancome, Estee Lauder, Prescriptives, Avon, Lumene. Choose the link above to see my thoughts on each.
Arbonne has a number of excellent serums, including lifting, RE9 (with C), and Revelage (whitening) I won’t be without the lifting or the whitening.
Avon has been a leader in skin care, very innovative. They were the first line to come out with an alpha-hydroxy — and it made a big difference in my skin. Their anew products are excellent. I do not care for either of their pump serums that they had a couple of years ago, because they smelled so bad. I recommend smelling them before buying to see if they still smell. I didn’t notice a huge difference like I did with their alpha-hydroxy products. Some of their products are targeted by age.
Beauticontrol
Beauticontrol makes several serums that I like. Some are targeted for 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s skin. I’ve liked Regeneration Gold for years. It’s a two step process that mixes when you pump it. It used to be that one was red, the other white. Now one is green, the other white. I do not know if it is the same product. Regeneration Platinum Plus is supposed to be the next step up, but it rolls on my skin, so I use it only on my neck and chest and bought more of the Regeneration Gold. They make C products, but I’ve not tried them as I have others that I am using at the moment.
Chanel Serums
Chanel makes a number of serums, and they are all excellent. It depends on your price point and your skin concerns. Sublimage products kept me moist even in the dryness of Las Vegas, using no other moisturizers layered in. The Radiance line has an excellent hydrating serum. As an aside, I did not care for Sublimage eye cream.
Clarins
I have used Super Restorative Serum. I likely might buy it again. I like what it says it does; I’m not sure I saw it doing it. I tended to use it more for hydrating than anything else. When I opened the container, when it seemed empty, there were still several days worth of product left. I put it in a small jar and used it to the last drop.
On the whole I like Clarins products, so I suspect their other serums would be good too. Their beauty advisers are generally knowledgeable and happy to help you. They are good about giving small samples to try.
Cle de Peau serums
Cle de Peau is the high end Shiseido line. CdP makes a number of serums, and they all feel good. I’m not sure how to choose one over the other. I have one. I’m not convinced it does anything particularly, but that might be because I tend to use others that I have.
Dior Serums
Dior makes some excellent serums. Capture Totale and HydrAction are two that I have tried. Capture Totale came highly recommended by a woman in NYC who swears by it.
Guerlain serums
Orchidee Imperiale is their highest, newest line. It is excellent. Super Aqua-Serum came highly recommended on the strength of one older woman who works for Guerlain whose skin is exceptionally beautiful. It’s a toss up which is better. Take your pick. They also have Success Future and Substantific serums. I get my Guerlain from Claire at the Palazzo in Las Vegas. Call 702) 732-7008 or email GuerlainPalazzo.STORE@lvmhuspc.com
Hydrating serums
La Prairie CELLULAR HYDRATING SERUM is an excellent hydrator, one of the very best. It is lightweight. It works by binding moisture to the skin and restoring the skin’s natural moisture barrier. A little goes a long ways and it stays fresh in the bottle. I use it generally on very cold days or whenever my face feels like it needs more moisture from the inside out. Price: $185.00
La Prairie Serums
Like Chanel, these are excellent, and it depends on your price point. I have not tried the latest lines.
Shiseido serums
Shiseido has a number of serums that are all excellent. Again, it depends on your price point and what you are hoping to accomplish.
Signature Club A
Super Strength High Potent-C Anti-Wrinkle Capsules $29.50
I like this a lot. It’s in my rotation of C products.
Retinol Wrinkle Penetrating Capsules 12 Hour Release $32.50
This is in my rotation. I like it a lot.
Viviane Woodard
I’ve used these products since I was 18. They have a number of serums, including specialized ones to use at night. Their day time serums are very good and moderately priced. The evening ones really give your skin a boost. They are used only periodically. Unlike ones by La Prairie that are also used only occasionally, these will not break the bank. Likely they perform different functions, but they help the skin.
Whitening serums
Many companies offer whitening serums. They started first in Asian countries. It’s not surprising that Shiseido has one. If you want to break up an age spot the fastest possible way, then your best bet is laser. Be sure to use SPF every day along with these.
Arbonne Revelage is an excellent whitener, which works by breaking up dark spots from below and keeping them from forming from the top.
Mary Kay TimeWise® Even Complexion Essence
I consider this more of a preventative, than a curative. I want to see faster results. I have no patience.
What serums do you know, use and love?
As I think of more, I will update.

January 10th, 2010 — Age, Arbonne, Aromaleigh, Avon, Chanel, Comparing, Guerlain, Hourglass, La Prairie, Laura Mercier, MAC, Primer, Review, Revlon, Sheer Cover, Signature Club A, Smashbox, Techniques, Un femme d'un certain age
Updated to include my review of Hourglass primer (and comparing it to Chanel’s Illuminating Base.) And also as a reminder about the value of using a primer.
To prime or not to prime, that is the question.
If you’ve not used a primer, try one and see what you think. Get a makeover and ask that they use one.
If you truly don’t like a primer, return it, if you bought it at a physical store. There are enough primers out there now, that you can find one that you love.
If you are using a primer, I’m guessing you will never go back to without.
Why prime?
What is the purpose of primer?
Primer perfects your look. It makes the surface of your skin silky with less visible imperfections, so you use less foundation. Your products glide over the top, meaning you need less foundation to cover.
What is primer made of?
Usually there is some silicone or one of the ‘cones’ in it to create a smooth surface on the skin.
Some folks even use Monistat gel for an inexpensive alternative.
How does it work?
Most primers are the last step before applying your foundation.
Primer slips over the skin, creating a light barrier, usually with silicone. Foundation glides on easier, goes on smoother, and covers better with less product.
Under a certain age, some primers will stop oil from coming through and messing with your look.
Once a certain age, a primer may act like spackle, one even has that name, gently filling in lines and pores to give a smooth surface for foundation and optically take time off your age.
Is it strictly cosmetic or is it also corrective?
All perform a cosmetic service; some are also corrective.
Color correction
Some primers color correct or add a sheer layer of color. Others are clear. Both Smashbox and Revlon Vital Radiance have multiple colors to correct.
Guerlain Meteorites Perles
Light-Diffusing Perfecting Primer; Base Perfection. Great little powder balls that color correct and do other neat things.
Contact Claire at Guerlain at the Palazzo in Las Vegas for all your Guerlain needs. (702) 732-7008. If you’re in town, stop in to visit!
Vital Radiance Smoothing Face Primer, SPF 25, Petal 002, Cool, 1 fl oz
which has been discontinued, can still be found on occasion. It came in two colors, cool and warm. I use cool.
Smashbox Photo Finish Color Correcting Foundation Primer
is another good one. I use the purple. Purple will also bring a foundation into a cooler tone. One minimizes red tones; one minimizes yellow or sallow tones; one minimizes dark circles, veins, and dark spots. (The best thing for dark spots is using a lightening product or having them removed either by laser or by freezing.)
Some have added ingredients that benefit your skin.
Aromaleigh Easy applicator pump bottle. Very nice product.
The best “canvas” for any type of makeup is a perfect, smooth canvas. This is what we are all seeking, and for many, mineral makeup brings us one step closer.
Lock in hydration while smoothing and retexturizing your skin’s appearance and maximizing your makeup…
With natural oils of Safflower, Grape and Camellia, Vitamins E and A and advanced polymers… our primer combines nature with science to get your skin where you need it to go.
Less is more, just like with mineral makeup. Your primer can be blended with your moisturizer or sunscreen, or used on it’s own. It can even be combined with a small amount of powder to create an easy to apply mineral makeup/primer combination that smooths to a velvety finish. Aromaleigh
Arbonne Virtual Illusion makeup primer
Supposedly acts like a natural botox to improve the surface of your skin.
Create a flawless canvas for makeup application with this advanced primer. A blend of vitamins, skin-perfecting pigments, advanced cushioning and anti-aging ingredients work in harmony to help tone, smooth and minimize the visual appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and enlarged pores. The result is a velvety, matte, radiant finish.
GABA, hyaluronic acid, polypeptides, gamma orizinol, light deflecting pigments, B-glycherritinic acid; horsetail extract, green tea leaf and grape seed extracts
Guerlain
L’Or – has real flecks of gold in it and creates a lovely look.
Again, contact Claire, see above.
La Prairie
I have not tried this white one.
La Prairie for eyes
Shiseido Benefiance Facial Lifting Complex also works to firm.
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer SPF15 with Dermaxyl Complex (Unboxed)
Here are some good ones:
Avon Magix evidently stops oil too; has a fairly heavy consistency; is generally well liked by everyone. Very reasonably priced at $10.
Smashbox – comes in clear (I like the purple better), purple (to correct skin tone, but it works to cool up colors of foundation that are a bit yellow),green (ditto, I haven’t tried this one) and an apricot one that has ingredients to benefit skin (I like the idea of this.) To me they all feel the same, but the clear one seems to do less. Placebo effect, likely!
Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer oil free spf 15 $52
I loved this product. It has a slight radiance to it which makes my skin look perfect. This is something I likely will be buying. 132 people reviewed it at Sephora, giving it an average of more than 4.5 stars.
Today I compared it to Chanel’s SHEER ILLUMINATING BASE. Both illuminate; Hourglass seems more slippery. I preferred the look of Hourglass once I had on my foundation and sparkly powder mix. I generally use Chanel’s only up the center of my face as a highlighter.
It is water-resistant and 100% fragrance free, oil free, and paraben free. It does not have an odd smell because of ingredients. I smell nothing.
It neutralizes the skin, creating a smooth, uniform slate for makeup application. Don’t forget the slight radiance which evenly distributes light to soften and camouflage skin imperfections and fine lines. It also protects from oil breakthrough, so your makeup stays looking fresh longer.
It has no
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Synthetic Dyes
- Phthalates
The SPF is formulated with naturally-derived titanium dioxide and zinc oxide rather than chemical sun-blocking agents.
These work, but I don’t like them as well
Laura Geller Spackle – Sephora sampled this.
It started out white and got taupe colored when exposed to air. The sample was in a pot. The full size is in a pump which would eliminate exposure to air.
Laura Mercier Foundation Primer – Oil Free
Sephora sampled this also. It was one of the first on the market.
Revlon It’s OK, but I didn’t like it as well. Comes in two formulas.
Revlon Age Defying Instant Firming Face Primer for Normal/Combination Skin (Pack of 2)
Sheer Cover Light weight. Still, it is nice.
Smashbox Highlight and Prime together
You can read my review here. I don’t like the dual delivery system. It doesn’t feed evenly. You have to cover one side to make sure the other feeds. I love the color though. Would be better to have just had the highlight to use as you wish, and add to your primer or not, as you wish. Or have two separate tubes in the set vs. 2 in 1 tube.
How about perfecting your look even more?
There are products you can apply over your makeup that filter out and soften lines, similar to when Doris Day was filmed through a special lens.
Clarins makes a great one!
Use this around your mouth or eyes, wherever you need extra help. Try it out at one of the counters.
La Prairie
Pink colored, quite a heavy consistency. Pricey. No better than some and less than others. Evidently, it comes in gold too. I think it is quite thick.
The eye product tends to roll some, but the look is pretty.
Signature A Wrinkle Filiment
is heavier, similar to La Prairie’s, but apricot colored.
MAC Prep and Prime
Prep and prime is a face primer. I like prep and prime better than Smashbox Photo finish because it doesn’t have that slick feel to it. It’s not all silicone. I recommend it. Miranda
MAC Black eye primer
I also bought MAC’s black eye primer. It makes a huge difference in how the eyeshadow looks. Want a paler, more natural look, use a skin toned primer. Want uber kapow and drama for evening, use black primer! Miranda
Do you use a primer?
Which one(s) do you use or have you tried?
Let me know if I left out any that you particularly love.
Nearly every line has a primer in their arsenal now. I’d like to hear about any good ones!

In the interests of using some of my eye shadows, let alone possibly ever using one up, I had a new idea when I was sorting through my stash.
Eyes:
Base: Nude Frost
Lids: Chanel Fauves quad, combined with Lancome Poudre Blanc Neige powder — The Fauves set is too matte on me and not quite the right brown. I got a brainstorm to try it with this highlighting powder. That altered the color a little and did not harm my lids. Browns are still not my all time fave. But this is a fairly nice, albeit expensive because of Chanel, neutral.
Drylined Darkest brown from Fauves
TightLined: Styli Sky 904 glitter pencil
Brows: La Prairie pencil
Mascara top: Guerlain; lower: Tarte
Concealer: SCA

Primer: Guerlain Meteorites
Base: Guerlain
Rouge: Chanel stick
Powder: Guerlain Meteorites
Blush: Arbonne Promise
Highlight: Arbonne lightest blush color

Lips: Milani 10 Glow Girl + 08 Lady Like
I love both colors alone, so I figured I’d love them together. Lady Like is coppery. Glow Girl is a medium pink.

I was happy with the way this turned out. I thought about adding some glitter, but the day got away from me, and I simply forgot.

I wore these shadow colors yesterday, because I was wearing a wonderful lime green skirt with amethyst accents. July 21st, 2009 — Guerlain, LOTD, Lipstick, Signature Club A
Lips:
base: SCA hyaluronic pen
Guerlain 08 lined with Guerlain Rose Indien pencil

I find I’m really enjoying the SCA hyaluronic plumping pen. I should have been using it for months — that’s how long I’ve had it since a friend gave it to me.
It has a lovely shimmer — not frost — to it. I suspect it is that look that makes lips seem plumper. I don’t notice plumping particularly, and there isn’t any sensation of sting.
Applied first, you let it dry (which is a misnomer because it isn’t drying.) Then apply whatever lip product you want on top — with this shimmer coming through to some degree.
Afterwards I applied the lip pencil around the rim of my lips and feathered it inside a bit.
Interestingly enough I’ve found several articles that mention if you want to look older, apply lip pencil heavily. If you want a younger look, be careful how much lip pencil you use and how you apply it. I’ve found that out simply by what look I prefer on myself.
As I said, against my better judgment, I bought this lip pencil — I have way too many pencils, especially if I no longer use them like I once did.
OTOH, I thought this looked really nice. So perhaps it is time to break out the pencils again and update my looks with them. Stay tuned!
Do you use lip pencils?
They can be used to change the color of a lipstick, to define your lips (change the shape if necessary), or to contrast (which is my least favorite look — I try never to do that.)

The end is flat like a cig, but there is a sharpener which would give it a point (and lose product). There is a single shade of top coat gloss to apply over the top — looks white/clear with orchid-blue micro glitters. It is very pretty on. Today I used the nude pink crayon. There is also a browner crayon and one that is deeper pink-red. Fun to try and the price is right!
It comes in a heavy cardboard case with a large mirror.

I hope you’re having a good day!

New shape of eyes again! This was a super easy, simple summer look! Only one color of shadow. I just love the way this turned out. Could it be that one color will be enough with most brands with this shape??
Remember Fyrinnae has gorgeous, gorgeous colors, but they are applied differently — they are patted, not whisked over the eye like most shadows. I wondered if I would have forgotten how to do this, but it went on very easily. I just adored the color, and with my top especially! I almost think this could be one of my natural looks, even though it is definitely purple. There is some gray to it, and if I used all black or gray pencils, I believe it would look less purple. Anyway, it’s a great color with my eye color.
By the time I’ve posted this, the shadow color has creased some. I’m not sure why, so I’ll have to use Nude Frost as my base next time.
Primer: MAC Luna
Shadow + drylined bottom: Fyrinnae Artic Fox
Highlight inner corners: Lancome Hollogramme Micro Pailettes, sparkly now discontinued
Tightlined top: MAC graphblack
Wet lined lower: Venomous gel liner
Mascara: Arbonne, 2 step
Brows: Anastasia Brow Tint Pen (light) + Brow Wand (Caramel)
Concealer: YSL Touch Eclat

Primer: Laura Mercier
Foundation: Chanel, discontinued
Rouge under my sparkly mix of powder: Chanel stick

Lips:
NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil Pink Nude + SCA Hyaluronic Lip Plumping Pen — this pen has almost exactly the same look and color as the NYX pencil, it’s not clear — anyway, I loved the look this morning. Now I have a dark shade on just because I wanted to try it, so if I get a chance, I’ll do a Take 2 photo later.

June 24th, 2009 — Arbonne, Brows, Chanel, Concealer, Dior, Eye Shadow, FOTD, Foundation, Guerlain, Lip Gloss, Mary Kay, Mascara, Merle Norman, Mineral, Primer, Rouge or blush, Signature Club A
Miranda inspired me to use the same MK colors that she had. Of course, I ended up tweaking it…I felt the sweet plum would be too dark and I’d accomplish the same look using Iris.
These would usually be colors I’d head back to for fall. But it made me feel cooler, even if the temps were way up there! I feel I’d like to revisit the MK summer collection again, with the turquoise and browns. Maybe tomorrow!
Eyes: All Mary Kay, except where noted
Base: Nude Frost (not MK)
Lids: Crystalline, for some shimmer; then Dusty Lilac to get some purple, but it didn’t show up
Crease: Steel
Outer corners + some in crease: Iris
Drylined top and bottom: Sweet Plum
Mascara: Arbonne 2 step
Brows: Merle Norman powder

Primer: SCA;
Foundation: Arbonne
Rouge under powder: Chanel stick
Powder: my sparkly mix, then Guerlain meteorites as bronzer
Blush: MK Shy Blush
Highlight all over: Arbonne Promise (the darker shade of blush that I bought, not the one I usually use to highlight) — I wanted to pink it up some.
Concealer: Arbonne + Dior skinflash

Lips: Arbonne Copper Sheer and Shine, straight up, strongly, so I could show a picture
I know, it likely doesn’t go with lilac, but it does go with the plum which is a warm shade — and rules are made to be broken. Plus I knew I’d be using other lippies as the day went on.

Thanks for looking!

June 22nd, 2009 — Arbonne, Eye Shadow, FOTD, Foundation, Highlighting, La Prairie, Lipstick, Mascara, Signature Club A
We are having record heat here. It was between 102 and 105 on the ride home.
So I wanted something cool and simple this morning. Something that wouldn’t melt away. But be quick and easy.
Eyes:
Started with Chanel pink liquid
Then Arbonne colors, also drylined for liner. Left eye has Arbonne 2 step mascara; Right eye has Arbonne 2 in 1 mascara. I like the brush best in the 2 in 1. No concealer — it’s summer! — even though I probably could have used some. Oh well, it’s summer! La Prairie brow pencil.

Arbonne primer, foundation, blush and highlight. My sparkly powder mix, followed by SCA hyaluronic powder as a bronzer.
Lips: Arbonne Tickled + Bikini, 1/2 and 1/2, one on each lip, then smooshed

There you have it!

Light and summery. I’m going to hit the pool later. The water temp is 88, easy to slip into.

I wanted something fast and easy — which, of course, never quite ends as expected.
Eyes: nearly all Avon
Base: Avon Lilac Glace
Crease and outer corners: Avon Mark I-Sheer Fondue — This is a beautiful, deep green. It’s hard to get this even on my light skin; I used a bit of water to smooth it out — I’d rather it be perfect, but hey! it’s summer…and unless my eyes are closed, it looks fine…I usually use it for liner.
Wetlined lower: Lancome Ice Princess, pencil, discontinued — one of my favorite colors, is a shadow and that’s how I usually use it.
Lined upper: Avon Mark Mini Marina pencil
Mascara: Arbonne 2 step
Brows: La Prairie pencil
Concealer: YSL Touch Eclat

Face:
Primer: Arbonne — this has the consistency of SCA’s Wrinkle Filament, which is more apricot in color — Arbonne is a bit smoother in feel, less thick
Foundation: Chanel — still going strong!
Blush under powder: Chanel stick, discontinued
Powder: my sparkly mix, followed by SCA’s hyaluronic
Blush over powder: Lancome Petticoat Pink, cream — love this color!

Lips:
Arbonne Tickled + Too Faced Make Nice, smooshed; rimmed with Avon Mark Mini Pink pencil
This gives the effect of pencil lining, but is softer.

Arbonne update:
I used the mask this morning. I’ve been using the lift product every day, especially around my eyes. So far, so good!

June 3rd, 2009 — Arbonne, Aromaleigh, Eye Shadow, Eye liner, FOTD, Foundation, Guerlain, La Prairie, Lipstick, MAC, Mascara, Meow, Primer, Review, Signature Club A
Sherri stopped over this morning and she had more Arbonne colors, so I tried some of the colors she brought.
What I like about the shadows
They are easy to apply, go on smoothly, need very little blending. The colors are a very good mix across cools, neutrals, and warms. Today I used two cools and one warm. They stay on well. I give them a 4.5. I reserve 5 for Aromaleigh and Meow, both niche minerals.
Eyes:
Base: Nude Frost
Crease: Arbonne Charade (cool brown)
Inner lids: Arbonne Petal (soft pink)
Outer lids: Arbonne Prosper (bright lime)(the warm color)
You can see the Prosper here:

Tightlined top: MAC Smolder
Tightlined lower: MAC earthline
Mascara: Arbonne 2 step — I’m still not convinced about the main brush here.

Primer: Guerlain Meteorites
Foundation: Chanel, discontinued — still going strong!
Rouge under powder: Lancome stick
Powder: my sparkly mix, topped with SCA hyaluronic
Blush over powder: Arbonne Promise (very light pink)
Lips: Whatever I had on this morning, then
Topped with Arbonne Razzberry — this is a very pretty color, and one I will be buying.

My skin
I like the way my skin is looking. I’m taking advantage of all the extra products in the travel kit before buying full size: the enzmye and the scrub. I like them both. The scrub is good on your hands too. Don’t forget your hands!
What do you think?
