Eyes:
Base: Beauticontrol Pink
Revlon Lilac Shimmer Perle (has sparks)
This will be my alternate to Queen Phyllis (which is off white.)
Milani #06 Royalty, also wetlined lower (remember the spark on this is only on the top — too bad — so now there is no spark on mine)
Lined top and lower: Shiseido Soft Black liquid
Over lined: Avon blue sparkle gel

Imagine a line down the center of my face.
I used the same primer, cream blush and my sparkly powder mix on both sides of my face. I used Revlon Age Defying Spa Face Illuminator in Light Pink 020 up the center of my face. The only difference is the foundation.
My Left side Cover Girl 210 Simply Ageless cream foundation — made to camouflage effects of aging.
My Right side Maybelline Matte Mousse #2
Until you compare it when applying it, the Matte really doesn’t look particularly matte. But in comparison the CG is slightly illuminating. CG would be the one that would lift lines by illumination.
The difference is very subtle, but the CG definitely is more illuminating.
The cream feels quite creamy, but not oily. The mousse feels like it glides on, so it likely has some kind of ‘cone in it. I like them both. If I were in the least bit worried about a T-zone in summer, I’d use the mousse. As it is, I can wear either of them year round. The colors I used are pretty nearly identical.
CG has an interesting way to determine what color you use. I bought mine at CVS, which didn’t have it, but at Target they had a chart. You place your hand under it, and when your skin disappears into the sheer chart, that is the color for you. Based on that, I bought 210, which is perfect for me.

Comparing

Lips: AL Pout + Karma + Silver Sparkles up the center

Showing the sparkle of the shadow:

Have you tried these two foundations?
What do you think? I like them both.

February 7th, 2010 — Aromaleigh, Bare Escentuals, Beauticontrol, DuWop, Guerlain, Lip Gloss, Lipstick, Mary Kay, Techniques, Too Faced
There are a lot of tricks to the trade when you are talking about lips. Lip prep is a big part of it.
Lip Prep
Remove old lipstick staining from your lips with a gentle eye makeup remover or facial makeup remover.
Dry Lips
Always use a balm under your lipstick and consider some form of lipgloss over the top, at least in the center.
Here are some common complaints and their solutions:
Problem # 1 My lips are rough Remove all the dead skin.
Some people use a toothbrush, but I find that harsh.
I first used a 2 step program when Adrian Arpel had one that sold at Bloomies. It is possible to use a facial scrub on your lips, but the grains are larger, so I prefer to use one made especially for lips.
Here are some products I like that are gentle, but work. I like both of these equally. I prefer the Beauticontrol Balm, but both work equally well. I use whichever balm I feel like, but I always use the proper set together, if I am using the exfoliant from one brand, I use its balm.
Beauticontrol Lip Apeel $19.50 (1.25 oz) (2 step, like MK), can buy Balm separately for $10 (.25 oz)
Mary Kay Satin Lip Lip Mask, follow with MK Lip Balm — $9.50 each for .3 oz each
A friend said this set cleared up her lips after using countless other balms that did not work.
Problem #2 Lipstick migrates into the lines outside my lips
Be sure to moisturize well around your lips. This will make the lines less prominent.
Be careful with dark shades, as this shows up more.
Use a less gooey formula or be careful how heavily you apply.
I find some of the lipsticks made to last all day are too drying for my lips, so I work around it.
Line lips with a pencil to hold your lipstick inside the line better
This works up to a certain point in age or appearance. After that, an invisible pencil works better.
You can use a pencil that matches your lipstick, one that contrasts (less modern look)(a dark visible line around a lighter lipstick), or one that matches your lip tone.
If you are using a color that is different than your lipstick color, you can actually change the shade — experiment with a favorite lipstick and a variety of pencils. You can do this on the back of your hand or just as you apply your lipstick for the day. This gives you almost an infinite number of shades with a combination of lippies and pencils.
If your lip pencil has a lipstick brush at one end, you can use that brush to feather or move the lip pencil color into your lip area or use it to apply your lipstick.
You can use the pencil first and line only the outside edges of your lips, or you can fill in the whole lip a bit (I prefer that method) or you can line after you apply your lipstick (I like this method too.)
Use one of the clear/invisible lip pencils that are on the market to line outside your lip line outside the color of lipstick you are using
At a certain point, this works better than using a colored lip pencil (or can be used in conjunction with a colored one.) It stops the lipstick from migrating.
You can find these in several brands. Avon used to make one.
DuWop reverse liner is great. One made by Too Faced is supposed to be very similar.
Guerlain Kiss Kiss Liplift is a magic product
This cleared up my lips in one application after I hurt them with stinging lip plumpers. Every other lip balm known to man did not work. (At the time I didn’t have Arbonne’s that might have worked.) It is slightly colored, like a concealer, so you can use it to mask your lip color to make other lipsticks true to their shade, or to bring your lips back to a natural color if they are stained from other lip colors.
It’s an expensive product, but one I will never be without.
Problem # 3 My top and bottom lip are not balanced; one is thinner than the other.
Use a lip pencil to draw at the top of the outside edge of your thinner lip. Experiment with drawing outside of your lip line to see if this looks natural or not. It depends on whether the outer edge of your lip has a distinct edge to it or not. You can often see on magazine pages that this has been done to many of the models. You might have to look closely, but they have done it. You want it to look natural in RL. Be sure to make sure that the points of your upper lip are centered under your nostrils. It looks strange if it is not.
You can use a slightly lighter shade of lipstick on your thinner lip. Or highlight only the center of that lip with gloss. Or use one of the techniques below for fuller lips.
Problem # 4 I want my lips to look fuller
Any of these ideas work, or a combination. It is possible to use one of these ideas on only one lip.
Use a darker lip color at the outer edges of your lips than the center.
You can do this by using one lipstick and layering the other over it in the middle. Or you can simply use one shade on the other edges and another on the inner, blending a bit where they come together. It isn’t necessary to use a lip brush; you can work right with the tubes.
Use a navy eye pencil on the outer edge of your lips. Carefully. This really works!
Be sure to blend this into your lip color. Use a shade of navy that isn’t too dark for your lip tone.
Use lip gloss in the center of your lips
Concentrate it on your bottom lip, then smoosh your lips together.
Use a lipstick made to enhance your lips.
Be careful what formula you use. I hurt my lips by using the same lipstick daily (wonderful color though!) by Cover Girl.
Buxom lip gloss by Bare Escentuals is very good and gentle. I love all the ones I have.
This is a beautiful set:
These are more neutral:
These are a little darker:
LipFusion is also good, perhaps a little less gentle. It comes in many colors.
Problem #5 My lip edge sometimes looks stained.
There are lip pencils that are skin toned. Use this carefully outside your lipstick color. You can also use a concealer for this purpose. The lip pencil will hold the line better than concealer, if lines outside the lip are a problem.
Rim your lips with a gloss. This really works and is a lovely look. You can choose a gloss that matches your lipstick, is lighter, a close shade or one that is different (say, a light apricot rim of gloss around a pink lipstick.) Experiment! I first saw this at the Beauté site. It really makes lips look both fuller and more youthful.
Problem # 6 I eat my lipstick off
Use a longer lasting formula or one that is less gooey when you know you are going to be eating.
I haven’t found that blotting lipstick or powdering makes the lipstick last any longer. And I do not care for the way powder makes my lipstick feel. I do, however, like using AL Rocks! glitter over lipstick to add color or sparkle. It seems silkier than powder. I don’t know if it adds any lasting power.
Try to be aware of working at your lips with your tongue or teeth.
Before you take a sip of a drink, lick your lips a bit. It forms a barrier between your lipstick and your cup or glass.
Use your fingers to wipe any lipstick off your cup or glass. It will make you more aware if you are losing more lipstick the next time you drink. Plus it looks nicer to those around you.
Use your teeth, barely your lips, to take food off silverware.
Break bread up into smaller pieces so you aren’t using your lips to bite into it. Who wants to literally eat lipstick!
Cut up large sandwiches, such as hamburgers, and eat with a fork. Or blot your lipstick before eating. You don’t want to get lipstick on your teeth or chin.
Problem # 7 I just feel like I look old
Update your look to follow one of the modern trends that work for you. Rim your lips with gloss — it’s surprising how well this works! Try it!
Try a stronger color in lipstick or try a lighter lipstick. Or both. Make sure you are wearing a tone and a shade that compliments your coloring.
If you change your hair coloring, you might have to change the depth of tone in your makeup, including lips, blush, and eyes.
Make use of the techniques above.
If you don’t have consultants for either MK or Beauticontrol, let me know and I will give you contact info for people I know who are consultants.

Here are several Vitamin C products that I like a lot:
My faves
Awake
I like the fact that you use only as much as you wish, and it liquifies in your hand as the warm of your fingers touches it.
Lancome
Sensation Totale, which has been discontinued. I love the feel of this. It makes your skin silky. I don’t know anything about the product they say is replacing it — and it makes no mention of vitamin C.
Estee Lauder
Perfectionist Cp+ is a great product and feels terrific on the skin. It is supposed to build collagen within two hours. I don’t know that it contains vitamin C but the “C” is in the name. Every time you walk through a store, put some from their tester on the back of your hands. If it works that fast on your hands, it must work on your face.
Beauticontrol has three C products. I have not tried these because I have the others, but I have several beauticontrol products that I love, and I would think these would be excellent.
Aromaleigh
I have tried 25% Vitamin C Serum- I like it a lot. I will likely begin to try the other products too.
Signature Club A
Super Strength High Potent-C Anti-Wrinkle Capsules $29.50
I like this a lot. It’s in my rotation of C products.
My second choice category
Olay
Olay Regenerist and Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Anti-Aging UV Moisturizer plus Touch of Foundation both have Vitamin C. In general, I like Olay products. I’m not sure they are as heavy duty as the Awake one.
Mary Kay TimeWise® Replenishing Serum+C
Mary Kay has come out with a C serum product in 2009. They were late to the party.
Give collagen a boost.* Help skin bounce back.
With TimeWise® Replenishing Serum+C, skin will appear lifted and firmed. This antioxidant-rich serum is formulated with ingredients that enhance the production of new collagen and help keep existing collagen from breaking down. It also contains ingredients known to support elastin. The formula is enriched with a potent blend of multiple botanical sources, known for their high levels of vitamin C.
The four weekly vials help maximize product freshness and provide an effective weekly application measurement to help you get the best results for your money. MaryKay.com
I don’t see or feel as much difference when I use this as I do with the Estee Lauder. However, you can see how dramatic the above picture makes it look. This is a customer’s unretouched photo, not the company’s. I continue to use the product on my neck — truthfully, I had not used a serum C on my neck before. I see a difference. I wish it were as dramatic, but then again, my before look is more youthful.
Avon
I did not care for the Avon one I tried a number of years ago. It was gold colored and sort of sticky. I don’t know if they still make it. It’s possible they have reformulated it. You can’t go wrong with their product guarantee.
I have not tried these
Lumene, which is available from CVS, also has a C line, day and night creams, eye cream and serum. I’ve not tried that line either.
Prescriptives also has a line of C products, but I have not tried them.
Do you use a C serum?
What is your favorite?

This was yesterday’s FOTD. A friend gave me more Sheer Cover, including another palette of these eye shadows. I remember how much I loved the look earlier, they are a lovely natural look (the palette has both cool and warm shades.) This is the cool. I wanted to try out the new eye shape again to see how it fared with this palette. I’m not used to such natural looks!
Another 5 min makeup. It was quick and easy and summery. It was a little hard to get the eye shape to define because the colors are so natural.
I used MK mascara and for some reason it drifted. That usually doesn’t happen. It seemed smudgy all day.
Base: Beauticontrol pink cream
Liner: MAC white tightlined top and wetlined bottom. Avon Gilded Grapepencil lined under eye — almost a brown. MAC Smolder pencil — blackest black — lined on top.
Brows: Chanel duo powder.
Concealer: YSL Touch Eclat

Primer: Sheer Cover
Foundation: Lancome minerals (and their powder) on dry brush, then spritzed with Clinique Moisture Surge before applying. I like this application.
Blush: BE Vintage Peach + Meow Water Lilies
Highlight: Beauticontrol Pink Powder (with shimmer) + AL Magnolia Blossom

Lips:
base: SCA hyaluronic pen
Guerlain 08 lined with Guerlain Rose Indien pencil

What did you do for makeup? Are you finding you want quick and easy for summer?
I promised myself on Sunday that I wouldn’t do anything on Monday as far as running around, because I’m still recovering (ha!) from the long trip, but I ended up getting my errands done for the week. Whoo hooo!
How about you?

Sometimes it’s fun to just grab a set for eyes and see what you can do with it. I’m still on a roll with my Diors, so I wanted to use my last color quint set, even though normally I would use this in the fall because the colors are darker and more fallish. I’ll post yesterday’s Dior colors too.

Eyes: Dior quint: 3 shades of gray, one of brown, center is a deep green, leaning to olive. It definitely looks olive where I drylined under my eye. You can pretty much tell where I laid the colors. I drylined the top with the brown shade. Outer corners have some of the green. Brown and grays in the crease.
Mascara: Jillian Dempsey for Avon (2 wands, one for top; one for lower) — sometimes this bothers my eyes.
Concealer: none
Brows: La Prairie pencil

My usual makeup.
Primer: Guerlain L’Or
Foundation: Chanel, discontinued, still going strong, but looks like it’s empty — it would have lasted me 20 years of using it only for my favorite occasions. I’d buy this again in a heartbeat, if it were still available.
Rouge under powder: Chanel stick
Powder: my sparkly mix, followed by Guerlain meteriorites as bronzer
Blush: Beauté Harlot Liqui-gel
Lips: Arbonne Tickled on one lip, with Beauticontrol Subdued Magenta on the other, smooshed; rimmed and up the center with Beauté Allure
I wanted a color that was more magenta, but I wanted to use Arbonne with it.

I’m happy! It doesn’t look too fall for summer. What do you think?
Don’t you think my face has a pretty glow to it? That is partly from the use of Arbonne skin care and partly from the L’Or and my sparkly mix. I’m very happy with the skin care, very!

I had fun doing this. I kinda wanted to wear some of my Chanel colors again. So I opened them up and chose between different hues of brown, greys and pink. And I kinda wanted to stay with a fuchsia toned lippie.

Drylined lower: one of the Chanel browns, then Dior #902, the deep teal color in it
Wetlined lower: Sephora Flashy Mauve pencil
Drylined top: one of the Chanel browns, then Dior #902, the deep magenta color in it
Tightlined top: La Prairie Noir Brun pencil
Mascara: Arbonne 2 step
Concealer: Arbonne

Face, my usual + some changes
Primer: Guerlain meteorites
Foundation: Chanel
Powder: Chanel pink loose pwder
Blush: Lancome Pink Pool (with sparkles)
Highlight: Beauticontrol Pink face feminizer (up the center of my face)

Lips: NYX Fusion (top) Pandora (lower); smooshed; Revlon Racy Raspberry gloss up the center; rimmed outside with Duwop reverse liner, invisible liner

Today I was doing some more organizing — putting all my magenta-type lippies in one place and putting my Meow samples by colors. Then I marked them all by their descriptions. I have a disproportionate number of Meow purples and lavenders, though I like to wear those colors. I did have 2 grays and one taupe (which looked green in the ziplock.) That’s how I saw and decided what colors to wear. I started with the lipstick, knowing I wanted to wear that again, plus the enhancer I beaded for my daughter’s newest bright green pendant (I’m wearing it). Then I saw the Meow colors and knew I was hooked for today.

Eyes: all Meow except where noted, in the order of application
Crease: Taupe — this looked green in the bag; looks taupe on, though it pulls some lavender in the pictures — I didn’t put any lavender into it except possibly at the lowest point of the crease
Inner corners: Misdemeanor VandalEyes — citrus green with gold — love this green!
Outer corners: Jessica R ScandalEyes grape
This is sort of the look I get when I do my mascara, as I tilt my head back and look in a hand held mirror to do the top lashes. Only this picture was taken when totally finished. You can see the gradience of the colors.

Mascara: top, Guerlain; lower:Tarte
Brows: Merle Norman powder
Lined lower: Mary Kay Tahitian Gold (love this color!)
Tight lined top and wetlined lower: Venomous gel liner (the purple that BookGirl liked so well)
Drylined top: Tongue Tied IdealEyes Deep Smoky Plum
No concealer

Sunscreen Neutragena, on face; La Prairie, on my neck
Primer: Avon Magix
Foundation: Chanel, discontinued
No highlighting
Rouge (under my sparkly powder mix) Maybelline Rose Petal Mousse
Blush (over) NARS Riviera stick

Lips: Beauticontrol Perfect Azalea topped with BE Buxom Dominique gloss (clear with white, light blue and silver micro shimmer) — BookGirl likes this — I used to wear it a lot.
What I think
When I compare this to yesterday’s look, I like the teal greens (better?) but I do like this look and will wear it again. If I don’t compare it, I think, good look! Plus I’ve had several compliments on the lippie, which I need to begin to wear more often again. It’s one of their older colors when they color coordinated everything to your season, not that I could wear all the colors that were supposedly mine.
What do you think?

Whoo hooo! What a fun look!
Black lippie was dark for daytime until I finished the look, but I knew what I was aiming for.

Very Simple Eye, but dramatic color
Base: Beauticontrol Shadow Contour Cream Pink, followed by my sparkly beige
Crease, outer corners, drylined top and lower: AL Grape pure eyes matte. Love, love, love this color, even if it is matte.
Lined Lower: Clarins Midnight Flash, wish it were still available!
Tightlined Top: Avon Cosmic Brown Glimmerstick, great color
Mascara: Mary Kary Ultimate Mascara Black

Primer: Revlon (clear)
Foundation: Chanel Discontinued on one side; new on the other
Cream Rouge: Mary Kay Over foundation, under powder
Powder: AL sparkle twilight supernatural powder
This was a very sheer, sheeny look, not a glimmer look. My own mix is more sparkly. This is the first one I’ve tried in this set of three. But I had to wear it. After all, Twilight came out at midnight Friday night, and we were there.
I will review the 3 as I wear them.
Blush: AL breathless Rocks! sonic rouge

Here’s another closeup of the lippie:

March 14th, 2009 — Avon, Beauticontrol, Chanel, Clinique, Equal opportunity customer, Estee Lauder, Eye cream, Guerlain, La Prairie, Lancome, Mary Kay, Olay, Serum, Shiseido, Using up product, Viviane Woodard
Take care of your skin today, it will thank you in 10 years. Or sooner!
I will be posting individual reviews in each category, but they are not ready to go up. This is a short synopsis.
Avon has a comparison of before and after pictures, in recent catalogs of models at different ages, with and without their products, using corrective products for their age as well as skin types. What a difference!
I showed the picture to a friend who didn’t believe that makeup was all it took. But any of us who know how we look with and without makeup, know it can be the truth.
She saw a TV show not too long ago where they debunked a particular product. I believe it was for the eyes. I told her that some eye creams do what they say, see below.
Meantime I saw a beautiful black woman the other day. She was wearing blush and lipstick, for sure. Her skin was luminous. I complimented her, then said, I bet she hears that a lot.
“Yes,” she said. “And I never do anything to it. I have to thank my mother and father. I am a combination of my mother and my father’s skin.”
As we talked further, she repeated, “I never do anything to it.”
Then, the kicker: “All I’ve ever done is use Clinique’s 3 step for twenty-five years.”
It works for her! And she didn’t think she was doing anything?
My adage:
It is easier to prevent than to correct.
It was explained to me once that the only part of our body that we rarely cover is our face. Everything else can be hidden. Don’t crimp on your face.
Do skin products really work?
Yes, some of them really do.
Nearly all lines show before and after pictures of women who used their products over time.
Do they have to be expensive?
No, but some of them are.
Avon makes some great skin care, age appropriate. They are also leaders in research and development.
Some drug store brands work; some department store brands. Guerlain makes many great products. Clarins. Clinique. Estee Lauder. Lancome. La Prairie. Olay. Shiseido. Cle de Peau. Avon. Mary Kay. I wear them all, and I always use Viviane Woodard moisturizer (since I was 18.) I am truly an equal opportunity customer.
Do you have to wear all products from one line?
No, but often SAs want to make you think so. OTOH, some products are meant to go together.
I wear different brands for different products. I don’t wear one brand-specific. I do use some products together that are meant to be used together.
I go by how my face looks or feels any given day.
What about the weather?
Yes, change moisture products when the weather changes. In general, heavier formulations of products (creams) when it is very cold or you will be exposed to wind. During hot weather, lotions or oil control products. Use this same idea for your foundation. Use a lighter one in summer.
Exfoliate your skin
Moisturizers penetrate better if you exfoliate regularly.
There are many ways to do this: masks that peel or not; Retin-A or other similar products; scrubs (gentle, please, don’t use a foot scrub on your face); cleansers that contain beads (Mary Kay Timewise is great, needs no toner, and comes in different formulas); diamond exfoliators (Mary Kay’s Microdermabrasion Set is great.)
Sunscreen? Limit hours in the sun.
Faithfully! I never go without it.
Don’t forget your neck. I probably did for far too long. I am currently using on my neck a sunscreen I don’t like on my face. Hurray, gonna finish a jar.
My favorite sunscreen is:
I am currently using one with spf of 85.
How can you tell if it is only hype?
How can I tell if I need it, or if it works for me?
If you wonder if you need it, you probably do. Start preventative early, so you don’t have to correct later.
Compare your skin with and without it. See my next post, that more fully explains how to make comparisons.
If you see no discernible difference or you don’t like how it smells or feels, consider returning the product. Companies don’t know, if we don’t return products.
Serums used before moisturizers? C-products? Copper products?
These have their place.
Fine lines around the mouth?
Chanel has a good product.
Be faithful to use exfoliation. I’ve written earlier about both Beauticontrol and Mary Kay having good lip exfoliation-balm sets.
How about eye creams?
Do I really need a separate eye cream?
Yes, after a certain age for sure. And hopefully sooner as preventative. Eye creams work differently than face creams.
Eye creams are made for specific problems.
If you have fine lines; if you need lifting; if your eyes are puffy, there are products specific for each.
Lifting Products
In general, lifting products can be drying (tightening), so you might need to moisturize. You might notice your lines becoming more prominent. Use a lifting product during the day; moisturize at night. Or, layer them during the day.
Puffy eyes
If your eyes are puffy from water retention — maybe you cried or you are traveling (like happens to me, even though I use my own pillow usually — eye creams can help this. A magic product is Chanel’s Precision Eye Cream. It takes care of puffiness. I haven’t found anything better. And it works better than their mega uber expensive Sublimage line.
But if your eyes are puffy from genetics because of fatty deposits, no eye cream is going to affect that. Unfortunately, to take care of that means having surgical removal. This can be done at the time of an eye lift or separately, but it is considered cosmetic as far as insurance is concerned, whereas the eye lift portion would be covered if you are having trouble seeing because of the skin sagging around your eyes. Eye cream will keep your eyes hydrated.
Don’t forget your hands!
See my separate post here.
That’s all for now. Anything else you want me to share?
Book Girl says I should tell you that I’m 70, that way you’d think I look great. Fortunately or unfortunately, I am not 70. On good days, in good light, with great makeup, I do not look my age. We won’t speak of other times.

What are you going to do when your lips are in terrible shape, either because of the weather, your system, or you did something stupid, like I did when I ruined my lips using a “>Cover Girl Incredifull lipstick (great name!) made to enhance/plump your lips (read: sting) (great color though!) nearly every day for probably a year. It was my favorite at the time. I used other colors through the day, but I always began the day with the CG one.
Bad idea. Be very careful with the lippies that plump especially if you are somewhat sensitive to ingredients. I’m ready to retry the CG on an irregular basis.
I tried for nearly another year to get my lips back in shape. Almost every lipstick or balm re-irritated my lips, but my lips need moisture, so I kept trying. My lips actually were painful.
Then I remembered one I had in my arsenal, but I hadn’t thought to try it because it is a lip primer. But it is magic!
Guerlain KissKiss LipLift
Rating: 5 ++ It moisturizes differently than other lip balms. It doesn’t feel sticky. It covers your lips if you want to change the shade. It takes very little. It did what no other product did. My lips are fine. At the first sign of any trouble, I reach for this tube. I carry one in my purse and my old one is with my other cosmetics. I will never be without it. Your lippie stays on better if you use it.
Exfoliating sets
Here are two exfoliating sets that are wonderful. You don’t need both, but it doesn’t hurt to have both. They each feel a little different. I like having both.
Beauticontrol: anything on this page. I have the older formula: Regeneration Gold Lip Therapy. I think it is probably the Age Defying Lip Treatment now. Perfect for under other lippies.
Rating: 5 for the exfoliating set
5 for Regeneration Gold Lip Therapy (and I assume the AD one.)
On the linked page, I use the exfoliating set. That balm is rich and thick. I use that alone, sometimes under other lippies, and always after I exfoliate.
I haven’t tried the Skinlogics or the Margarita lip balms.
I pretty much have liked all the Beauticontrol products that I’ve tried.
Let me know if you want to order from my consultant. She does not charge shipping.
Mary Kay Satin Lips works and is healing. (I had forgotten this one too, during my year of trouble with my lips.) My friend said it healed her lips after years of trying every other product. Let me know if you want to order from my consultant. She’s working hard to get to the next level.
Rating: 5 for the set; I always use the balm with exfoliant; and I use the balm alone.
I exfoliate whenever my lips need it, maybe once a week or less. But I moisturize daily.
Trust me, I will never be without these 4 products so long as they are made. They actually work.
