Candles

I love candles, but often forget to light them. People say my house smells wonderful, but I don’t smell anything particularly most of the time, unless one is lit.

OTOH, there is a candle I love, among others, that I’d wear as a fragrance if it were made to smell the same. It is called Sensual Evening, distributed by Nature’s Finest (Palm Creations) in Plano, TX.

Sensual Evening: Rich, warm woods are caressed by exotic spices, night-blooming florals, and sensually tactile musks.

All of their candles have a top layer with sparklies, and after they melt, the top layer solidifies each time as it cools down back to the same sparkly look, so the candle is pretty when not lit. Sensual Evening is a multi-layered blue.

Where can you find them?
I used to be able to find them at Winn Dixie, but they didn’t always have them, so when I found their website, I ordered a box of the ones I love.

Update: Recently I found them in a small local gift shop. I bought about 10 in different scents/colors. I just line them up and look at them until it is time to put on in a votive.

Tyler Candles are very, very good too. They come in several forms, including some available in lingerie washes. Some of the flavors/scents I like are:

COWBOY
Nearly decadent in its sensuality, loaded with the rugged aroma of leather!

Diva
A warm and complex fragrance overflowing with delicious fruits and rich florals. Rich aromatic chocolate and amber complete this luscious blend!

ELEVATE
Deep sweet fig intertwined with plum & bergamot with an undertone of sandalwood. A fragrance created for those truly on a higher plane!

Envay: A Daring blend of Italian Bergamot, Brazilian orange & galbanum with masculine patchouli, amber & velvet musk all combined to mesmerize & amaze!!

FRENCH VANILLA OAK
Light camphor notes atop a warm, sensual blend of creamy vanilla, soft amber, cedarwood and sandalwood! Just when you thought you knew vanilla!!!

HIGH MAINTENANCE
Our #1 fragrance. Floral, woody blend compined with patchouli and vanilla with a heavy musk undertone! Very sophisticated and truly addictive.

KAFFE
Strong coffee enriched with sweet caramel. Ultimately a warm inviting aroma blended with creamy vanilla.

MULLED CIDER
Rich apples blended with a dash of citrus, cinnamon and clove!

Do you love candles?
o you have faves? Have you tried any of these?
