Biggest daughter headed back to school...and I've been cleaning and sorting ever since...
I downloaded my first podcast into my MP3 -- that was cool. And I've been doing a few more of my CDs every day -- almost done! I apologized to my daughter for being so busy with it -- she said it just meant I really liked it!
She, on the other hand, needed to be 'encouraged' to do her CDs vs. IMing her friends.
She went thru her CDs really fast because she recognized which songs she wanted immediately. It takes me longer because I have to listen to a snippet to decide if I want to rip it or not. When she used her laptop, it didn't pull up the artist or the album name. When she used my computer it did, so she used mine so as not to type in the info.
We've been trading music ever since we both got one. She gave me some Pop and some Club Hop and some country. I've given her some songs I think she should be familiar with: Dylan, some Judy Collins, a bit of jazz, some Joan Baez Diamonds & Rust(including Diamonds and Rust) -- and then I found a UTube accoustic version, not heavy metal, of Judas Priest singing it.
