Here's a fun way to use old buttons.
I have used individual buttons on bracelets, simply strung on elastic.

I hear you. As I said, I’d tweak them.
OTOH, if you have some cool buttons looking for a new home…send ‘em on!
They might be fun strung with crystal, then a button, then crystal, etc.
I tried to crochet, just from looking at the site, but gave up on it, and used some of my buttons in other ways.
