Whether you like artificial means of producing scent or whether you prefer natural ingredients or a combination of both, this article gives a little insight into the director of one of the top producers in the world of artificial scents and flavors.
The search for promising scents is a life-long one, if you love fragrance. Me, in many cases I prefer the vintage formulas of favorite fragrances. After a while, tweaking the formula changes the character for me. And I find many of the new fragrances, rife with artificial scents, smell identical after a while. They just don’t smell true.
I’d like to work in the field though!
I’m not sure I’ve ever met a fragrance that can duplicate what nature has for us. The scent outside a friend’s house should be bottled and worn. It is mostly her purple jacaranda tree that is in bloom. I think I’m into flowers this year, whether I can wear the scent of that flower or not.
