College Girl and I went to see the new Spiderman movie last night. Reading one review that rated it 2 stars, I figured it wouldn’t be all that good. Then I began to see 3 star reviews. And since CG wanted to go, I went along for the ride.
The special effects were great, as always. Of course, you suspend reality for a time, but that is its plus, don’t you think? We get enough reality just from the news.
It was worth the movie to see Peter Parker groovin’ down the street. He must have had fun with that scene.
As with many movies, it might be more enjoyable to see a second time when you know where everything is headed. At least for me, wimp that I am…
Last movie before this that we went to, I jumped sky high and CG complained because I made her jump, so I moved away from where she was sitting. This time she was the one jumping.

Indeed that grooving thing down the road (and in the club) was hilarious and worth the admission ticket. Well acted too!
My SO joked that this is probably how they saw him as the European Spiderman (all suave and knowing the moves etc.)LOL!!!
If only the last 15 minutes of the film did not derail it….
Oh well, it’s a fun series, anyway.
There were parts that weren’t developed as well as they could have been, but the movie was long enough as it was, so I guess over all, I didn’t have any complaints.
The blonde was especially sweet and innocent. Loved her eye liner! LOL
