Beading with buttons

Here’s a fun way to use old buttons.

I’ve never made one of her designs, but I think it would be easy to tweak the idea and use less buttons to make it less bulky.

I have used individual buttons on bracelets, simply strung on elastic. I like the way they add to the charm and stand up a bit from the other beads.

Interesting idea, although not really my style. Still, I’ve got several jars of old buttons hanging about …

I hear you. As I said, I’d tweak them.

OTOH, if you have some cool buttons looking for a new home…send ‘em on!

They might be fun strung with crystal, then a button, then crystal, etc.

I tried to crochet, just from looking at the site, but gave up on it, and used some of my buttons in other ways.
