More on the MP3

I think one of the best things I did was rip some of my Cmas music to it, the jazz Cmas CDs (Light Jazz Christmas and Light Jazz Christmas Eve), Winter’s Journey, Kenny G’s Miracles: The Holiday Album. So even tho it is AFTER Cmas, I’m enjoying Cmas music and I would not have listened otherwise. I did not rip in anything with words except for Jose F’s Feliz Navidade. I marked what I’ve ripped and not ripped, and next year, or maybe when I get completely done, I will rip only the ones with words that I like.

I am so enjoying the Cmas music even if it is after the fact. Makes me wonder why I didn’t listen earlier.

Also, years ago I got Jazziz magazine and every month they sent out a compilation CD of music from new CDs. If I particularly liked an artist, I bought their CD. I haven’t listened to them in years, bec some tracks were not my faves. So I’ve been playing it as I get ready in the morning and I note: not #2, #7, 9, etc. so then I take it in and rip it, and I have only the ones I like! So they are going to be played again.

I have a wealth of music I can do this with.

We also found that with a cable (each) the MP3 will play thru my l/r system and my f/r system.
